Danylyuk: Ukraine, IMF to sign updated Memo of Cooperation before Board of Directors meeting

Ukraine and the International Monetary Fund will sign an updated Memorandum of Cooperation before the meeting of the Board of Directors on the allocation of the third tranche of aid, which will take place in mid-July, Ukrainian Finance Minister Oleksandr Danylyuk told journalists at the Forum on Energy Efficiency in Kyiv.
”It has not been signed yet. The Memorandum will be signed before the IMF Board of Directors meeting,” he said, answering the journalist`s question about the terms for the document signing.
At the same time, Danylyuk said that the Memorandum would not include any major changes, and there were no disagreements in the cooperation between Ukraine and the IMF.
As UNIAN reported earlier, Ukraine plans to issue $1 billion worth of eurobonds in August 2016, with the U.S. loan warranty, according to the agency`s source in the Ukrainian government. However, the source noted that before the issue of bonds, Ukraine should conclude the negotiations with the IMF on the Second revision of the four-year reform program, adopted in March 2015, as well as launch the system of electronic declaration of property.
