Contact group agrees on ceasefire in area of Boeing crash

The trilateral contact group for the peaceful settlement of the conflict in eastern Ukraine at a meeting in Minsk on July 31 decided on a ceasefire in the area of the Malaysian Boeing 777 crash.
The head of the state commission investigating the causes of the crash, Ukrainian Deputy Prime Minister Volodymyr Hroisman, said this at a briefing on Wednesday.
“It has been decided as part of the contact group that cease of any hostilities at the route by militants will be maintained at the corridor, which was checked today by the OSCE mission jointly with partners from the Netherlands and Australia,” he said.
