Constitutional Court to check lustration law

Ukraine’s Supreme Court will appeal to the Constitutional Court to verify certain provisions of the law on the cleansing of power.
Such a decision was backed by 27 out of the 43 judges at a court plenum on Monday, a Ukrinform correspondent reported.
The argument of a constitutional motion was the fact that the Supreme Court began to receive numerous appeals from judges regarding the constitutionality of certain provisions of the lustration law.
The lustration law adopted by the Verkhovna Rada in September 2014, and it entered into force on October 16.
