An issue has not been decided yet on distribution of committees in the Verkhovna Rada.
MP from the Samopomich Yehor Sobolev told journalists on the Verkhovna Rada sidelines.
“We are now stuck on the important debate – the President’s and the Prime Minister’s forces insist that Khomutynnyk, Yeremeyev and the Opposition Bloc should receive committees without fail. I think that it is not the opposition, but the opposition to the state. And we do not agree that they received committees,” the Samopomich representative said.
According to Sobolev, it is impossible to give leadership of the parliamentary committees to those due to whom people died. In this context he reminded that, in particular, Ihor Yeremeyev voted for the January 16laws.
In Sobolev’s opinion, the opposition should have the Regulation Committee to control, and the rest of committees should be given to representatives of the Right Sector and Svoboda, who are not the coalition members.
