CEC names first two elected MPs

The Central Election Commission (CEC) has officially named the first two elected deputies of the Verkhovna Rada of the eighth convocation who won the most vote at single-seat electoral districts Nos. 45 and 146.
CEC members signed respective protocols at a meeting on Monday, a Ukrinform correspondent reported.
Thus, a people’s deputy of all previous seven convocations of the Verkhovna Rada, Party of Regions member Yukhym Zviahilsky, became an MP elected at constituency No. 45 (Donetsk region).
Yuriy Shapovalov, who was running for parliament at electoral district No. 146 (Poltava region), became the second officially elected MP.
