Border guards send modernized technique to ATO area

Saturday, six armoured vehicles, eight trucks KrAZ and three vans were sent from one of the units the State Border Guard Service in Kyiv to the ATO area.
The press service of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine reported.
The State Border Guard Service noted that this is the first part of the vehicles, which will soon go to the Ukrainian-Russian border and the ATO area to strengthen the border units. The column also carries winter equipment and other military equipment.
“APCs, handed over to the border guard agency from the Defense Ministry of Ukraine, were repaired at the Mykolayiv Armored Plant. In total, 20 armored vehicles were repaired and handed over to the State Border Guard Service,” a statement reads.
The State Border Guard Service added that now the Mykolaiv Armored Plant upgrades a batch of APCs for border guards. They will be equipped with two diesel engines with more powerful features, and will use much less fuel.
The second part of the equipment will be sent to the ATO area in a few days.
