Belgium expressed great concern at reports of strengthening Russia’s participation in the escalation of violence in the east of Ukraine.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belgium told a Ukrinform correspondent in Brussels.
Various reports on strengthening participation of the Russian Federation cause a great concern, the agency quoted the position of Foreign Minister Didier Reynders.
The minister called on Russia to take responsibility at the international level on the issue of achieving a peaceful resolution of the situation.
Belgium also repeatedly stressed the need for a ceasefire in accordance with the international law.
