Anti-terrorist operation press center: night was relatively quiet

Last night in the area of the anti-terrorist operation was relatively quiet, the press center for the anti-terrorist operation has reported on its Facebook page.
“Since 00.20 there was no single shot in Donbas. Hitherto, illegal armed groups ten times had resorted to provocations and shelled the positions of Ukrainian military, using different types of weapons, including artillery,” reads the statement.
In particular, the press center noted that militants five times fired at the settlement of Pisky near Donetsk with small arms, heavy-caliber machine gun and grenade launchers. Ukrainian military were fired at with small arms at the checkpoint near the settlement of Novotoshkivske, and the position on the outskirts of Orlovo-Ivanivka came under mortar fire.
At midnight illegal armed groups fired at Ukrainian military three times for an hour, using artillery systems. Terrorists once opened artillery fire near the settlement of Ridkodub and two times near the settlement of Maloorlivka, the press center for the anti-terrorist operation reported.
The statement says that Ukrainian military handle the situation on the contact line and conduct planned activities aimed at the resumption of combat effectiveness.
