Ukrainian Deputy Prime Minister Oleksandr Sych, Agricultural Policy and Food Minister Ihor Shvaika and Environment and Natural Resources Minister Andriy Mokhnyk, who are representatives of the Svoboda All-Ukrainian Union, have announced the termination of their powers in the government. In addition, statements of resignation have been submitted by the heads of state administrations from Svoboda.
Sych said this at the Cabinet of Ministers on Wednesday, a Ukrinform correspondent reported.
“On behalf of the Svoboda All-Ukrainian Union I would like to announce the declaration of resignation of members of government and heads of state administrations. The Svoboda All-Ukrainian Union announces resignation by the nationalists-members of the Cabinet of Ministers, the heads of regional and district administrations in connection with the announcement of the results of the early parliamentary elections and the formation of a new coalition,” Sych said.
He said that the statements had been registered at the secretariat of the Cabinet of Ministers.
