Additional 300 U.S. soldiers went to Poland as a part of NATO team

On January 11, 2017, additional three hundred American troops arrived in Poznan, Poland from Frankfurt, German.

American soldiers joined close to one thousand other U.S. troops who are already in Poland as part of a NATO plan to strengthen the alliance’s presence in Eastern Europe.

“This week, the number of US troops stationed in Poland is to rise further; the current deployment will involve a 4,000-strong Armored Brigade Combat Team (ABCT) supported by 90 tanks, 18 self-propelled howitzers, 144 Bradley combat vehicles and 400 Humvee wheeled vehicles,” reports EFE

After their first joint manoeuvres in Poland, the units will be deployed to Bulgaria, Romania and the Baltic states of Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia.
