About 1,200 people released from terrorist captivity

The implementation of a peace plan of Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has helped release nearly 1,200 people who were captured by terrorists.
National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) information and analytical center spokesman Andriy Lysenko said this at a briefing on Monday, Ukrinform’s correspondent reported.
“About 1,200 civilians and Ukrainian servicemen who were captured by terrorists have been released as part of the implementation of the plan,” Lysenko said.
He said that 28 Ukrainian servicemen from the 30th and 93rd brigades, 40th battalion and 6th border detachment had been released in the past 24 hours.
