The territory occupied by militants in eastern Ukraine during the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) has reduced by 80%, Ukrainian National Security and Defence Council (NSDC) Information and Analysis Center spokesman Andriy Lysenko told reporters in Kyiv on Thursday.
“Under the control of the militants remain about 1/5 of those territories which had been occupied by terrorists from the start of the ATO,” Lysenko said.
