In 2016 Ukraine reduced gas import and there are 11.993 billion cubic meters reserves of natural gas – PJSC Ukrtransgaz

PJSC Ukrtransgaz reports that import of gas in 2016 was reduced by 5.4 billion cubic meters.

In the end of 2016 gas was imported from Slovakia(1.3 billion cubic meters), Hungary (227 million cubic meters), Poland (129.7 million cubic meters).

In the beginning of 2017 reserves of natural gas in underground storage facilities are in the amount of 11.993 billion cubic meters that is 14.3% lower than in the same period last year, but 4.6% higher than those at the beginning of 2015.

Ukrtransgaz Naftogaz of Ukraine states that if reserves piled up in Ukraine’s underground storage facilities are not enough than additional import will be provided.
