196 Donbas children from families displaced from Eastern Ukraine have left for winter vacations to Austria. This news was reported to an Ukrinform correspondent by a representative of international charity organization SOS-Children’s town . The idea to give Christmas presents to children displaced from the Donbas conflict zone originated at the Austrian government and the Austrian Embassy in Ukraine. The initiative was further supported by the Ukraine’s Ministry on Social Policies and Kiev’s region department for children matters.
Children will stay for ten days in Austria at the Schieleiten castle.
