10 times more foreign currency sold than purchased in May

Net sales (excess of sales over purchases) of foreign currency in cash by individuals in May amounted to $319.2 million, according to a posting on the website of the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU).
In May, banks sold $36 million worth of cash foreign currency to individuals and bought $355.1 million in cash, the NBU said.
As UNIAN reported earlier, in April, net sales of foreign currency by individuals in Ukraine amounted to $343.8 million.
Last year, net sales of foreign currency by individuals in Ukraine amounted to $1.55 billion.
