Nemtsov’s murder suspect ‘tortured, forced to confess’

MOSCOW: A former Chechen police officer who admitted taking part in the murder of Russian opposition activist Boris Nemtsov “likely confessed under torture”, a member of the Kremlin’s human rights council said yesterday.
