Ukrainian passport holders will be ableÂ to travel to most EU countries without a visaÂ under new rules approved today by theÂ European Parliament.
Once formally adopted in June, the rules will allow Ukrainian biometric passport holders to visit forÂ 90 days out of any 180-day period for tourism or business.
TheÂ U.K. and Ireland are excluded, and travelersÂ will not be allowed to work under the arrangement. Countries agreed to the measure in February onÂ condition that that visas could easily be reimposed if conditions warranted.
