Ukrainian passport holders will be able to travel to most EU countries without a visa under new rules approved today by the European Parliament.
Once formally adopted in June, the rules will allow Ukrainian biometric passport holders to visit for 90 days out of any 180-day period for tourism or business.
The U.K. and Ireland are excluded, and travelers will not be allowed to work under the arrangement. Countries agreed to the measure in February on condition that that visas could easily be reimposed if conditions warranted.
