The European Court of Justice ruled against Russia’s Rosneft today, finding that U.K. measures aimed at implementing EU sanctions levied against Russia are valid.
The state-run oil and gas company challenged the validity of the measures the U.K. adopted to implement the sanctions the European Council decided to impose in 2014 in the wake of Russia’s annexation of Crimea, which targeted Rosneft.
