Borisov asks for EU help to make Bulgaria a gas hub


Boyko Borisov, the prime minister of Bulgaria, today asked for European Union funding to help construct a gas hub in his country.
In Brussels, Borisov discussed the recent announcement by Russia that it will scrap the planned South Stream pipeline project with Maroš Šefčovič, the Commission vice-president for energy union, and Miguel Arias Cañete, the commissioner for climate action and energy.
