EU states’ ships are flouting the bloc’s embargo on doing business with Ukraine’s Russia-annexed Crimea, according to a new report by the OCCRP, a club of investigative reporters in eastern Europe. “Over the past two years, 24 vessels bearing EU countries’ flags, 43 vessels registered in the EU and 22 vessels owned by EU beneficiaries have entered Crimea”, the report said, naming Germany, Greece, and Romania. …read more
