The emissaries from the gold sea come in crimson rain

Its stringed light sheers apart, the bee tribes madden,

Their wings playing interwoven chords mist rears,

And rain spurs its white horse into crimson berries.

The emissaries speak of stars in an unknown tongue .

Long ago mother sang of the underwater kingdom,

Where the sun sleeps awash with light and she sang

Of how the cart with wheels of seven stars came…

Sunset. Strings of rain frolic. Then silence tenses
