Iran and Russia may have just signed a major $20 billion oil deal, as reported by Russia’s Itar-Tass, Iran’s Fars News, and the Telegraph on Wednesday. The deal would allow Iran to circumvent western and international sanctions aimed at curtailing the country’s nuclear program.
