“Ukraine doesn’t recognize Nagorno-Karabakh as an independent state and welcomes Azerbaijan’s similar stance regarding Crimea”, said Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko, during a joint press conference with Azerbaijan’s President Ilham Aliyev in Baku July 14, APA reports.
The president noted that Azerbaijan and Ukraine have agreed to coordinate multilateral cooperation and approaches in multilateral format, taking into account Ukraine’s membership in the UN Security Council.
“Azerbaijan actively supported Ukraine when it was a member of the UN Security Council. Now, Azerbaijan can rely on the firm support from Ukraine during its membership in 2016-2017,” he added. …read more
