Armenia’s GI ranking in Band D places it in the high category for corruption in the defence and security sector. The highest risk areas were Finance, Operations, and Procurement, which fell in Band E (very high risk of corruption), according to Government Defence Anti-Corruption Index (GI) by Transparency International.
The level of corruption in the countries was assessed using 77 various indicators. Each country received scores ranging from A (very low) to F (critical).
