TIRANA, March 15 /ATA-Gjergji Mima/ – Albanian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ditmir Bushati said that Western Balkan countries integration is of strategic importance for the EU, during a conference on the topic “South of Europe as a common market”, held on Saturday in Tirana.
“Western Balkan countries integration is of strategic importance for the EU, because it so secures its South-East, where important energy lines are being built. There is also of economic importance because these energy arteries will further improve the security of the EU, thus guaranteeing diversification of suppliers and energy corridors’, he said.
