There was no threat of extinction of population in Crimea wich is not the case in Karabakh


Drawing comparisons between Crimea and Karabakh is unacceptable. When Crimean was annexed by Russia there was no threat of physical extermination of the Crimean population by Ukraine.
“Crimea cannot be compared with Karabakh in terms of the essence and roots of the conflict. In this sense, South Ossetia and Abkhazia have more in common with the Karabakh conflict, given there was a threat of physical extermination of the population, bloodshed and war,” political analyst Stepan Safaryan said to A1+.
