Ministry official reports nprecedented increase in apricot exports


As of July 26, Armenia exported 65 000 tons of fruit and, including 26 tons of apricots.
Talking to journalists on Wednesday, Deputy Minister of Agriculture Robert Makaryan said this year’s apricot exports surpassed last year’s indicator. “We haven’t had this kind of an indicator during the past seven years. Last year the figure was 19,900 tons.
Armenia mainly exported fruit and vegetables to Russia (62 tons), Georgia, Belarus, Ukraine and UAE. …read more
